Privacy Policy

We use cookies to offer you the best experience on our website.

Protecting your privacy is important to us. Please note the following points of our data protection declaration (Privacy Policy).

Cookies
Cookies are text files that are stored on the user’s computer when visiting a website. This website uses cookies to make the offer user-friendly, more effective and safer. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, to display information on the site that is specially tailored to your interests. The sole purpose is therefore to adapt our offer to your customer requirements in the best possible way and to make surfing with us as comfortable as possible and to make navigation easier. This website follows the user notice policy on the use of cookies.

Retargeting
This website also uses retargeting technology to target users with advertising on the websites of our partners who are already interested in our products. With retargeting, the advertising material is displayed on the basis of a cookie, which is set when a product page is called up. Of course, no personal data is stored here either, and the retargeting technology is also used in compliance with the applicable statutory data protection regulations. If you do not wish to be shown interest-based advertising, you can disable the use of cookies by Google by visiting the ad preferences. Alternatively, your visitors can disable the use of third-party cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google, USA“). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored in your browser. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google will evaluate visitor behavior in order to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

Facebook plugins (like button)
Like buttons from the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA) are integrated on the website. When you visit our pages, a connection is established between your browser and Facebook via the plugin. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site. If you click the “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, the content of our pages can be linked to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our site with your user account. The operator of this online offer has no knowledge of the content of transmitted data or its use by Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our site with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

NET_Metrix
NET-Metrix AG is the independent Swiss authority for Internet usage research and also collects data on our site on our behalf. The NET-Metrix data is used for internal use by H+M MEDIA AG and is not passed on to third parties. The Net Metrix data protection declaration of NET-Metrix AG can be found here.

Access data/ server log files
The provider (or his web space provider) collects data about every access to the offer (so-called server log files). Access data includes:

Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete indications.

Handling of personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone are personal data.

Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection.

Comments and Posts
If users leave comments in the blog or other posts, their IP addresses are saved. This is done for the security of the provider in case someone writes illegal content in comments and posts (insults, forbidden political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider himself can be prosecuted for the comment or contribution and is therefore interested in the identity of the author.

Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.
